Quick Sticky Rolls
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbls. yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 egg beaten
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 cup pecans
- 1 tbls. corn syrup
- 2 tbls. water
Directions
Heat milk, ¼ cup butter, salt and sugar together. Add yeast, warm water, egg and flour. Allow dough to rise for 30 minutes. Blend together brown sugar, ½ cup butter, cinnamon, pecans, corn syrup and 2 tbls. water in a saucepan. Heat until melted. Pour into a 9x13-inch baking pan. Stir down batter and drop by tablespoonful in sauce. Bake at 350°for 15 minutes. Cool 1 minute. Cover with cookie sheet and turn carefully upside down. Yields 8 servings.
