Cherry Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup or 1 (6 oz.) jar maraschino cherries cut up
  • 1/3 cup maraschino syrup
  • 3/4 cup pecans

Directions

  1. Stir flour, baking powder and salt together. Mix eggs and sugar. Blend flour mixture and egg mixture together with syrup. Stir in cherries and pecans. Turn into well-greased bread pan for Crock-Pot or 2 lb. coffee can; put into Crock-Pot on high for 2 hours. Remove and let cook 10 minutes; take out of pan. Yields 1 loaf.
