Heat oven to 275°. Beat egg whites until stiff. Continue beating and add sugar and cream of tartar. Put a brown bag on cookie sheet. Pour egg white mixture on brown bag. Bake 1½ hours. Turn off oven and leave door closed 1 hour more. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in marshmallows and whipped cream. Transfer baked egg whites to serving dish. Spoon cream cheese mixture on top. Top with cherry pie filling. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
