Candied Bacon

  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 8 slices bacon


  1. Heat oven to 400°. Mix brown sugar and cumin. Dredge bacon on both sides in sugar mixture. Place bacon on a baking pan with sides and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown. Place on paper towel to drain excess fat. Serve warm. Yields 4 servings.
