  • 1 tbls. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup picante sauce
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tbls. spicy brown mustard
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips, crumbled


  1. Heat oil in saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender. Add picante sauce, molasses, mustard, pork and beans and black beans. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Garnish with green onions, cheddar cheese and crumbled chips. Yields 6 servings.
