Heat oven to 350°. Mix together first six ingredients as pie dough and roll out ¼ inch thick. Brush dough with softened butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Spread with chopped apples. Roll up, cut into slices and put in a pan. To make syrup, combine brown sugar, water and a few drops of maple extract. Pour over rolls. Bake for 15 minutes. Yields 12-15 rolls.
